Some of us have an addiction to getting these pets, so... :P
Good question. I'll have someone look into it, but certain exclusive pets will unlikely be made available.

Agreed, plus the amount of coordination it would take with any 3rd party developers could be horrifying. And, if they coded it wrong, it breaks the game. I think we do well enough on our own there. But, definitely interested with improving the UI to make it easier for us healers...I mean for everyone.

How does our feedback work

So as you can all see from reading this thread, opinions tend to vary, which makes assessing story feedback very difficult

Story is a personal and emotional experience by design, so feelings about it run high and can be polarizing. It is impossible to change an experience like that retroactively through arguments or debates, so I would urge everyone to be respectful, share your thoughts, and not make it about being "right" or "wrong".

As a point of clarification, when I mentioned that we condensed the story based on feedback, it was not that we felt the overall story of KOTFE/monthly chapters were received poorly at large (quite the opposite, really) it was that the pacing of the story was widely seen as too slow/drawn out. We took that feedback, assessed our plans, ultimately agreed, and made a change.

One last note about numbers: it's commonly asked how we balance feedback against data and metrics, so this is a great place to use as an example. Numerically speaking, KOTFE and KOTET were our most successful expansions by a very significant margin. We didn't change anything in the story based on numbers (the numbers would've said to keep doing exactly what we were doing), we changed them based on the passionate feedback we received from y'all.

So keep it up! But, y'know, be cool to each other in the process

#2 Class Changes: Virulence Sniper/ Dirty Fighting Gunslinger

Hey folks,

Below you will find the planned changes for Virulence and Dirty Fighting coming in Game Update 5.3.
Quote:
Note: All changes below are currently in development and are subject to change before being released.

Sniper
Virulence
  • Cull deals 25% less damage
  • Weakening Blast deals 11% more damage, costs 5 energy, and is no longer triggered by weapon damage from Cull
  • Increased Lethal Shot weapon damage by 13% and reduced its poison damage by 35%
  • Toxic Surge deals 20% more damage
  • In addition to its previous effects, Lethal Takedown now also reduces the energy cost of Takedown by 3

Gunslinger
Dirty Fighting
  • Wounding Shots deals 25% less damage
  • Hemorrhaging Blast deals 11% more damage, costs 5 energy, and is no longer triggered by weapon damage from Wounding Shots
  • Increased Dirty Blast weapon damage by 13% and reduced its bleed damage by 35%
  • Bloody Mayhem deals 20% more damage
  • In addition to its previous effects, Dirty Shot now also reduces the energy cost of Quickdraw by 3

DevNotes: The changes to the Virulence Sniper / Dirty Fighting Gunslinger are meant to bring the discipline down to its target DPS. The damage reduction to Cull / Wounding Shots and the changes to Weakening Blast / Hemorrhaging Blast and Lethal Shot / Dirty Blast brought Virulence / Dirty Fighting slightly below its target DPS, so we increased the damage of Toxic Surge / Bloody Mayhem to get it back to the target.

The change to Lethal Takedown / Dirty Shot addressed a situation where it was better to use Lethal Shot / Dirty Blast while the target was under the effect of your Weakening Blast / Hemorrhaging Blast.

Dread Warlord Pack Changes

Hey folks,

With our last Cartel Market pack, we made some changes to how drops worked. New pack items would only contain Silver or higher rarity so that we could really focus in one quality and the other slot was a guaranteed Grand Chance Cube. The feedback we heard pretty quickly from many of you is that due to those changes, packs didn't feel quite as rewarding when you opened them. We agree with that sentiment and we want to continue improving this process going forward. The Dread Warlord Pack contains some changes we hope will address your feedback.

Each pack now will now contain 5 slots, instead of the previous 4. Here is what each slot looks like:
  1. Guaranteed new pack item. These items are all of Silver rarity or higher.
  2. Any Cartel Market item of any rarity, up to Platinum. Armor sets will drop as complete sets and Grand Chance Cubes can drop in this slot.
  3. Any Cartel Market item of Bronze or Silver rarity. Armor sets will drop as complete sets and Grand Chance Cubes can drop in this slot.
  4. Companion Gift
  5. Jawa Scraps
By adding an entire item slot to the pack, along with giving you items as opposed to just Grand Chance Cubes we are confident you feel more value from opening Cartel Packs. All of these changes come with no increase in price as well. When the Dread Warlock Pack drops tomorrow, let us know what you think of these changes and keep the feedback coming!
