Hey Icykill_,

There are two elements to this question, story impact and logistics. As we have mentioned in the past, Eternal Thrones story is going to be a continuination of the story from KOTFE. For that reason, we highly recommend that you play through all of KOTFE before jumping into Eternal Throne. The choices that you made throughout this expansion will have consequences that you may not have seen yet!

Logistically, the plan right now is that you will be able to jump straight into Eternal Throne if you want to. However, as with past expansions, we would choose templated story choices for you to catch your character up. For that reason, again, we highly recommend you play through KOTFE before jumping into Eternal Throne. We will definitely talk about more details like this after the announcement on 10/7.

Hey folks,

Certainly other users in this thread have already answered the question, but I thought I would get some confirmation behind it as well. Color crystals having +41 to stats is something that we have no intentions of removing/changing. That stat value is tied into multiple items that players can earn or buy and so we wouldnt want adjust that value. We can adjust for stat balance, etc. on other items without impacting the +41 of the crystal.

Hey daveOreally,

This is a good question, and one that we have received quite a few times over the past few years. Although we dont normally comment on rumors, I thought this was a good one to jump in front of. As of right now, there are no intentions of expanding the weapons that are available to Classes.

It has always been our design goal that when a player sees another character, they would be able to tell what Class that player was at a quick glance. Part of that is tied into the weapon that they use. Right now if you see a Republic character running with a blaster rifle, you will assume they are a Vanguard. Two pistols, Gunslinger, and so on.

Hope that clears up any rumors

Those are all topics I feel like we have talked about quite a bit, but I think those tend to be conversations that happen around Cantinas. They may not be as prominent on the forums:
  • Guild Management is something that we are always looking to improve. Guild quality of life is important and although I have nothing specific to announce, this is always a place we are looking for opportunities.
  • PvP balance, really any balance, is an on-going thing. We are always looking at the current state of the game and what needs to change. We have an expansion coming and if you look at previous expansions as an example, they typically come with changes...
  • Player choice is an interesting topic. KOTFE in many ways had more impact for your choices than our previous stories. One of the pieces of feedback we saw is that sometimes you may make a choice, but not see the consequences until much later on (Koth!). This can definitely lessen the feeling that those choices had impact, since the choice and impact of that choice were far apart.
  • Developer feedback is something that waxes and wanes a bit. Where we have opportunity to seek out feedback and for players to engage with developers, we try to take it. Previous conversations around class changes are the best examples. I know it isn't on-going, but we try to capitalize on those opportunities as we can.

We talked a little bit about some of this on the last Producer Livestream, but I can address most of those:
  • Keep in mind that Eternal Throne is a continuation of the story in KOTFE. There are things that are not yet wrapped up or completed, and that is intentional. You aren't through the whole story yet...
  • The feedback of "killin' skytroopers" has definitely been passed on to the team, they are aware
  • Your last question I cannot answer since you are asking about content/gearing in Eternal Throne. More coming on that later.
